Best 4 Kitesurfing Locations In The Caribbean

As you surely already expect, there are so many tremendous kitesurfing spots in the Caribbean. This is mainly because of the great winds that appear from December to June, which is exactly when you want to visit for the best possible experience. All Caribbean islands have benefits and particularities you want to learn about before you arrange your visit. Island hopping is actually really common, allowing travellers to discover great activities. However, if you enjoy kitesurfing, the following spots should be seriously considered.

Union Island

Union Island

This is a perfect destination for those that enjoy locations that are not spoiled by too much mass tourism. The trade winds present here are great and water spots are quite flat. Union Island is located right in the middle of Grenadines and brings in really easy access to neighbouring islands.

If you want to go kitesurfing, you will want to consider Eipc and Ocean Rodeo as the two top choices among professionals.

Barbados

Barbados

Barbados is considered as being the best wave riding destination in the Caribbean but it is also tremendous for kitesurfing. One of the really interesting spots is found at the Brian Talma Kitesurfing Center in Silver Rock. That is what you want to experience if you love kitesurfing and you want to be a part of it during your vacation. Other great locations to practice freestyle skills are available. Barbados on the whole is a destination that is tourist oriented so be ready for a lot of people around.

Guadeloupe And Martinique

Guadeloupe And Martinique

These 2 French islands are perfect and quite popular among European tourists that enjoy the sport of kitesurfing. There are many kite centers and kitesurfing spots that you can try on the East Coast. You will find that the best possible wind is almost always going to be present in the morning but it also offers enough natural flow at other parts of the day.

St. Lucia

St. Lucia

There are 3 important kitsurfing locations in St. Lucia. One is located in the northern part of St. Lucia, at Case En Bas and the other 2 are close to the Vieux Fort international airport. If you are looking for freestyle activity, Case en Bas is where you want to go. The best possible wind will be experienced between the months of March and June. If you need kitesurfing lessons in St. Lucia, do consider Reef Kite School in Vieux Fort.
