What many do not know is that around 40% of the US wetland is present in New Orleans. This automatically means that there are so many animals that you can see, including many alligators. A boat tour in Manchac Swamp is definitely a good idea for the adventure seeker. You can end up seeing reptiles that are 19 feet long and you can get really close to them. Besides the gators, you can see shakes, giant bull frogs and various other native animals. Because of the fact that there are many boats that visit daily, the animals will not be afraid and can be quite friendly.
