Canyoneering is an extreme form of sports, which means most standard travel insurance policies won’t cover it. Therefore, it would be prudent to purchase an adventure travel policy with canyoning specifically included as one of its provisions.

If this is your first experience canyoning, it is strongly advised that you work with a guide. A knowledgeable guide can provide necessary training and safety advice, navigate challenging sections safely, as well as suggest canyons suitable to your level of skill and fitness.
