Three Sisters Reef

Three Sisters Reef

This reef is located around 1 kilometer off the Bonza Bay region. You will take a boat to go to one of the best reef dives in the region. Water temperature is quite warm, normally going as high as 21 degrees Celsius and we have a visibility of up to 15 meters. You will love the diving experience in winter more as the reef is much more visible then. The dive is varied with crevices and great ledges to explore. We also have breathtaking pinnacles with many large reef fish visible.

Nahoon Bay

Nahoon Bay

You can reach Nahoon Bay from Nahoon River or Gonubie. There are 3 individual diviing sites that are all characterized by sandy seabed with so many attractive diving activities that are possible. You have a total depth that goes between 10 and 18 meters, with ledges, soft corals and caves, sustaining so many reef fish. Thanks to the current, if you are lucky, you can also see juvenile tropical fish. Macrophotography is really great here.

Janssens Rock

Janssens Rock

You can go diving to a depth of up to 18 meters and Janssens Rock stands out as highly interesting and attractive because of the structure: gullies, flat reef and broken reef, all in one location. You have 4 pinnacles and a really stunning tunnel that is 8 meters long. Make sure that you are careful though since there are ragged tooth sharks that will stay in the tunnel from time to time. Be sure that you have enough maneuvering space, just in case. You have access to a wide variety of underwater sea life because of the abundant coral growth present.

Riet Point

Riet Point

Riet Point is accessible at around 3 kilometers east of Kowie River, through Port Alfred. You will love this spectacular scuba diving spot with various soft corals and a truly exceptional reef life. You can go as deep as 22 meters and reef sponges will become larger as you go deeper. There are huge reef fish that will freely swim in the area, without a threat of being caught since fishing is not really possible. You are recommended to take around 2 dive tanks with you so that you can enjoy the area properly.
