Badrallach
Located 8 miles away from the nearest road in north-west Scotland, this tent camping site allows tents, groups, campervans, motorhomes, caravans and dogs. Campfires are allowed and you have access to 12 pitches, all with hook-ups if you need them. It is also possible to rent a gas-lit cottage or you can rent a caravan if you are looking for a luxurious stay. Once there you can experience different outdoor adventures. This location is perfect for kayaking, climbing and walking. You can even go fishing if you want to.
Rothiemurcus
The site is located right among Caledonian pine trees in the Cairngorms National Park. You can surely experience the wild side of Scotland here since there are different mountain bike and walking trails. Around 50 outdoor activities can be enjoyed by those staying in the camp. Three camping areas are available, an island formed right by the river, next tot he small river and surrounded by tall pines.
The Shielings
The Shielings is placed in quite a dramatic location. Wildlife is present in abundance and you will be able to come here with big groups, dogs, young groups, caravans, campervans and tents. Campfires are allowed and there are 90 tent pitches available, 16 shielings. The shower and toilet facilities are excellent. You even have access to launderette. Off site you can visit the Duart Castle and if you want something different, visit the spa and the community pool at Isle Of Mull Hotel.
Camusdarach Campsite
Camping, self-catering and beach. You will definitely love the location, the panoramic views of Eigg and the beaches between Mallaig and Arisaig. There are rarely crowds available so you will have access to a great beach experience. If you get bored, you can always go on wildlife boat tours or enjoy sea kayaking. You can even arrange a one day trip to take you on the Harry Potter Train, which runs between Fort William and Mallaig.
