You will surely love all that is offered and there are 3 trails that do stand out and that do have to be experienced by the mountain biker in Pennsylvania. Moraine State Park
An advanced trail, the one in Moraine State Park is singletrack and lasts for 7 miles. The elevation is of 1,436 feet and the system used is that of a loop. You need to be aware of the fact that the mountain biking trail is rocky and rooty. It is not for beginners. However, we are faced with an excellent trail for the advanced rider. The toughest part is the rock garden in the Mt. Union trail region. After that, there are log obstacles and rock obstacles but the trails are pretty back and forth. You will go through a downride that is challenging and then you will be faced with an even more grueling ride back towards the top. There are basically tons of obstacles that you can experience. With this in mind, if you really love technical rides, this is the one you need to be on.
Allegrippis Trails
The mountain biking trails here are stacked looped arranged. They offer you the chance to easily plan a long or a short route, all based on personal wishes. We can say that the number of combinations that is available is practically endless. Riders that simply keep coming back are always entertained as they can try a brand new route on every single visit.
The Allegrippis Trails are not typical to what you would expect in Pennsylvania but everything is awesome. You are faced with rolling downhills, fast riding and some pretty easy climbs. You can even just go fast if you want to and not be faced with climbs. To make matters even more interesting, the trails are currently maintained by volunteers and they do a pretty good job.
Nockamixon State Park
You can go for two really easy loops in the northern part of the park. Those that are the northernmost will be quite muddy so prepare for that. The loops in the south area of the Nockamixon State Park are much more technical. There are rock gardens and shallow stream crossings are available in both sides. Most of the trails that you can consider are quite tight but they are not at all too technical. Most of the riders that visit are experience so you can expect a courteous crowd and a fun ride.
