Our list is great for both novice and experienced hikers however, mountain climbing can be pretty tiring so before embarking in a New Zealand adventure make sure you are in a good physical condition.
Tongariro National Park
Tongariro is a volcanic park and a protected area for both cultural and ecological reasons. Tongariro National Park is a place where tourists can discover important Maori sites. While visiting the park, try the hiking trails of Mount Ruapehu, a famous volcano mountain known for its spectacular eruptions. When the volcano is quiet, the beautiful volcanic lake can be visited.
