This is definitely one of the really beautiful Cycling routes in Germany, a river route that is tremendous for a couple. You will get the opportunity of seeing wellness, gemstones, wine sites, forests, steep vineyards and weird cliffs. The route will mostly follow Nahe River.

We are talking about a 120 km route that takes you from Nahe source to Bingen, the city where the river goes into the Rhine. Make sure to stop in Idar-Oberstein to see the German Gemstone Museum. You can stay overnight in the hose of a wine grower after that so you can also experience local wines straight from the source.

This cycling trail in Germany goes right parallel to German Wine Route. It will take you through various castles, vineyards and historical towns. You will enjoy it as you go through the second largest area for wine growing and you can experience a great way of life. We recommend a stop in Deidesheim since you can taste some great pinot noir or Riesling. The route will then take you towards the border with France. The landscape here reminds the rider of Tuscany. Also, consider the route during the autumn as it is definitely great.
