You may believe that there are no rafting options that are available near Los Angeles since there is no significant flowing river. Obviously, this would limit tubing and rafting opportunities but that does not mean that there are no great scenic waterways that you can experience while you are rafting. Tributary Whitewater Tours
If you do have a lot of experience with whitewater rafting, this is the tour near Los Angeles that you want to be on. The Kaweah River is really great, running through the Sequoia National Park, with the starting point around 210 miles away from the City Of Angels. The colorfully named rapids like Osterizer, Powerhouse, Bumper, Suicide Falls and Chute will give you quite a lot of adrenaline filled memories, ending with Slickies, which is a polished granite slalom.
LA River Expeditions
Most people are surprised but the truth is that the LA River does offer some really interesting rafting expeditions that you can be a part of. There is an area that is revitalized and that offers so many interesting water activities for those that want to experience them. You will want to start from Frogtown. A 2 and a half mile journey will take you through unnoticed scenery right along the banks of the river. So much exotic wildlife, hawks, herons and flora can be enjoyed here, making it a perfect experience for the explorer.

Lazy rivers automatically mean that you go at slower paces. This is the type of experience that you get when you can control water flow. When you go to Soak City Orange County, in Knott, you get quite a lot of fun and will get so wet during the process. The location is quite popular.
