You may believe that there are no rafting options that are available near Los Angeles since there is no significant flowing river. Obviously, this would limit tubing and rafting opportunities but that does not mean that there are no great scenic waterways that you can experience while you are rafting. There are some pretty interesting options that are available for those that love rafting or tubing near Los Angeles. We will mention some that you will definitely appreciate and want to enjoy. Keep in mind that others might exist and that everything is definitely subjective.

On the Kern River there is lazy river tube riding available all throughout the day, just 2 and a half hours away from the city of Los Angeles. There are many interesting rushing waters that you can experience through the really scenic Sequoia National Forest. The guides are quite friendly and will prepare all that you need to go through. Before you go tubing, you will need to go through a safety training session that teaches you all that you need to know. You can learn about interesting ways to experience the tubing experience even more. There are 3 rapids miles that are available with names like Ewings, Freight Train and Big Daddy.

If you do have a lot of experience with whitewater rafting, this is the tour near Los Angeles that you want to be on. The Kaweah River is really great, running through the Sequoia National Park, with the starting point around 210 miles away from the City Of Angels. The colorfully named rapids like Osterizer, Powerhouse, Bumper, Suicide Falls and Chute will give you quite a lot of adrenaline filled memories, ending with Slickies, which is a polished granite slalom.

There is an area that is revitalized and that offers so many interesting water activities for those that want to experience them. You will want to start from Frogtown. So much exotic wildlife, hawks, herons and flora can be enjoyed here, making it a perfect experience for the explorer.

Lazy rivers automatically mean that you go at slower paces. This is the type of experience that you get when you can control water flow. When you go to Soak City Orange County, in Knott, you get quite a lot of fun and will get so wet during the process. The location is quite popular.
