Cycling In Amsterdam
Cycling is big in the Netherlands so it should be no surprise to see that Amsterdam offers great opportunities. This is in part because the city is quite flat so it is so easy to travel around by bike. As a tourist, you will want to cycle the canals, explore Amstel River and head over to the Amsterdam Stelling, an UNESCO listed location. Just make sure that you do not plan a beer tour in Amsterdam when you go cycling so you will not have problems. Bike rental is available now and you can easily enjoy the great prices available.

You may already know this but there are no natural beaches in Amsterdam. This problem was solved by the construction of some artificial beaches. Free admission is almost always available and there are daily entertainment shows that can be enjoyed. We recommend:
- Blijburg aan Zee – located in IJburg Zuid, backed by sandy strips that are manmade and offering late night clubbing, campfires and much more with a bohemian vibe.
- Strand West – this is a huge party location for youngsters, allowing you to have so much fun thanks to the beach bars and the other facilities available.
